PeeNYC is a project created by Hayley Hobbs, Maya Mabry, Hayley Allen and Ashna Mali (myself) during HackNYU’s 12-hour hackathon in December 2023.
PeeNYC is an app that tracks the user’s location and calculates the distance to the nearest restroom. Users can add bathrooms and leave reviews on existing bathrooms. This community-driven element aims to make the app as accurate as possible. Overall, the goal is to make public restrooms as accessible and safe.
My contribution was designing the UI and creating an interactive Figma mockup, complete with variables. For example, if the user goes through the “login” page, it allows the user to access the “create a review” page.
